This year again, the festival will showcase bold, impactful and innovative works from a variety of backgrounds. Intense dramas, offbeat comedies, fascinating animations… Each selected film has captivated us and promises to make you vibrate.
LES BLUES SISTERS
A film directed by Claire SAURIN.
The Blues Sisters are a pair of childhood friends, having formed a band in reference to the Blues Brothers. From the style of clothing to their car, everything is close to their models.
Despite their talent and in front of the other artists of the city, the public is unfortunately not there.
One morning, while Ambre is in her music store, Charly comes to see her with an idea: to put out all their competitors to become the only artists of the city and impose their music.
Their original strategy will lead them in a different adventure to avoid being caught.
LE VERRE DE THÉ
A film directed by Sara BERNANOS.
Sayyid, Samir and Fehdi return home to debrief about their best friend Adel’s wedding in the middle of the night.
Over the course of the evening, they reminisce and discuss this mutation in their friendship, which echoes the mourning of a childhood spent together and a part of themselves.
A timeless moment when these three brothers of the heart exchange views on their prospects of facing the world alone, sharing a glass of tea.
LES SOLARIENS
A film directed by Clarence LARRIVOIRE.
Vadim is a watchman in an underground car park, craving both sunshine and
companionship.
He starts going to a tanning salon where the blue UV light brings him solace to beat the blues.
There he meets Leonore, his tanning booth neighbour whose presence brings warmth to his heart. But the salon’s walls stand between them.
Vadim knows only her voice, yet longs to meet Leonore in real life.
