The Short Event Association, 25 rue de l’Université, 69007 LYON, offers on its short film festival website, pff-festival.com, information and documentation, divided thematically, on the short film festival Pour Faire Court, which takes place in Lyon.

The president of the association is Thomas CORTIAL.

The site is managed by: Léo MARTIN, Emma DEGRANGE and Charlotte TRICHELIEU.

The site is hosted on the WordPress platform

The purpose of these General Conditions is to set out all the conditions of access and use of the website. Access to and use of the Site implies tacit and unreserved acceptance of these Conditions bu the User, in their latest online version.

 

  1. Access and availability

Access to the Pour Faire Court site is open to anyone wishing to obtain information and/or participate in the short film festival.

Access to the site is guaranteed to be continuous and permanent, except in cases of Force Majeure or events beyond our control, and subject to possible breakdowns and maintenance interventions necessary for the proper functioning of the site.

Furthermore, due tot the nature of the Internet, Pour Faire Court cannot guarantee that the site will function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

  1. Responsability

Pour Faire Court makes every effort to offer users the most reliable and qualitative information available, but does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information published on the site.

Pour Faire Court cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage suffered by users or third parties that may be caused by the information published on the site, or more generally by the consultation and use of the site.

Furthermore, Pour Faire Court does not monitor the websites linked to it via hyperlinks and accepts no responsibility for these websites or their content. 

  1. Intelectual property

3.1. All data of any kind, and in particular films, textes, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio or video clips, trademarks, software, appearing on the site are necesarily protected by copyright, trademark law and all other intellectual property rights.

The data thus protected are the property of the Short Event association or of third parties having authorised o use them.

Under these conditions, the user undertakes not to repriduce, summarise, modify, alter ou redistribuate, without prior express authorisation from the publisher, any films, images, audio or video clips, text, title, application, software, logo ,brand, information or illustration for any use other than strictly private, which excludes ans représentation for professional purposes or redistribution in large numbers. Similarly, the user undertakes not to copy all or part of the site onto another site or an internal company network.

3.2. All of the data accessible and the content published on the site, as well as the methods of consultation, constitute the database of the website.

This database is protected by the provisions of the intellectual Property Code relating to copyright, as well as the provisions of the European Directive of 11 March 1996.

Under these conditions, the user undertakes to use this data strictly within the framework of consultation and is prohibited from reproducing, translating, adapting, arranging, transforming, communicating, representing, and distributing, permanently or temporarily, by any means and in any form whatsoever, all or part of the data contained in these databases, other than in the cases referred to in paragraph 3.1 of this article.

 

  1. Miscellaneous

4.1. In the event that one of the provisions of these conditions is considered null and void by virtue of a legal or regulatory provision, present or future, or of a court decision that has the force of res judicata and emanates from a competent court or body, this provision of the contract shall be considered unwritten, with all the other provisions of these General Conditions of Use retaining binding force between the Parties.

4.2. The Short Event association reserves the right to unilaterally modify that terms of these conditions.

The new clauses shall govern all future relations between the parties, and only the new version shall be binding between them.

4.3. The present General Terms of Use are governed by French law both for the substantive rules and for the rules of form.

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before bringing the matter before the competent court.
